Compassionate Training & Behavior Consulting in Brooklyn and Queens
Feeling overwhelmed by life with your dog? Whether you are transitioning a new dog to your home, wanting to improve basic manners, or dealing with reactivity or aggression, Julia can help. Work with an experienced dog trainer to create a holistic, customized training plan and receive step-by-step guidance to help you and your dog navigate the world together with ease.
Julia has spent the past 10 years working with a huge myriad of species including horses, cats, livestock, birds of prey, black bears, foxes, otters, rodents, reptiles, human children, and, of course, hundreds of dogs. It has taught her to be creative, flexible, proactive, and, above all, that training works better and lasts longer if your student is an enthusiastic participant.
She graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Animal Science and Biological Sciences before transitioning to the shelter. There, Julia fell in love with the heart and honesty of behaviorally complex dogs. Julia still trains for NYCACC and is proud to serve the community and the dogs of New York City.
